When America Froze

This booklet is a piece that tells the stories from 3 different people: a 9/11 survivor, a specialist in the 9/11 attacks, and the architect of the one world trade center. While focusing on the design and patterns of modern books, I purposely made the image treatment dramatic and symbolic (I will explain more below). One thing that I found very interesting with the events on 9/11 is the specific memories everyone has of that day, where they were, what they were doing when they found out, etc. The American public was frozen in time, but those in New York City were anything but.

The events that happened on 9/11 are a very difficult to research and learn the details about. During this process, I had to take multiple mindfulness breaks for my own health.
